A time when you are so confused, knowing that the next choice defines your future. A time when all you do is soul search. "Do I do this or do I do that?", "Do I like this or do I like that?" these are some of the questions running through your young, naive mind. "Okay let me hear what others have to say" you decide. When you listen to them, you hear them say nothing. In fact, they are even more confusing than you expected. Your guardians are also so naive and in terms of this, all they can do is chant a prayer and ask God to give you guidance. You turn to the most educated relative and all they can advise is "follow your heart, do what you like". At least that is helpful now. Still you are not settled on what to do. By virtue of fact, you really don't know what you want or like. This is my story five years ago, before I entered this career path. I had done well in my high school, got some good points to admit me into a government University but still hadn't settled on what course to take. This is so prevalent in Young naive Kenyan youth, who have done well in their 'O' level and are not sure of the career path to follow.
This is my story of growing passion in a career line that is so new to every one around me, that is Maritime Career.
To follow are my five years events into developing passion in MARINE ENGINEERING.
